Istanbul Airport Linear Lights

Linear pixel lights flowing throughout the main airport zones.

I played a key role in designing and overseeing the implementation of a linear infrastructure lighting project for the New Istanbul Airport. This project required pixel-controlled linear lighting, which was successfully integrated into the airport's main zones.

My responsibilities included project management, system design, lighting control, and leading the team throughout the project’s execution.

The wave shells were sourced and manufactured locally consisting of a wooden underframe and machined wood sheets coating them.

Due to the long distances needed for the pixel control, severla hubs were designated. Controll is done using Digidot hardware and Madrix software.
